21-02-2024 A three week training for the Chikunda Oral Bible Translation of Feira in Luangwa district of Lusaka Province which started on 12th February, 2024 is progressing well has reached an advanced stage of community check. the community check attracted 4 mother tongue speakers of Kapyanika and Soweto villages under Chief Mphuka of Luangwa district. Thomas Phiri of Kapyanika Village from Baptist church was very much surprised with the work done and something which he did not expect, "Is that how the Audio Bible will be produced in Chikunda"? he surprisingly asked. He was impressed with the process of technology and in his observation as he was involved in community check, said this work need someone in good mood and not in a misunderstanding and fighting situations. He also said, will inform his fellow Christians at Baptist church that will put the project and staff in Prayers for smoothly running of Gods work. In another development Bernard Tembo of EFETA ministries on behalf of the community check team from Soweto village of chief Mphuka thanked the BiLTA staff of Chikunda for involving them in the community check which is was interesting and it’s a plus for the first team for the establishment of the Chikunda Audio Bible in the district which is being translated in their mother tongue language.
